Key West Airports & Airlines

Getting to and from Key West Florida couldn't be easier, with three conveniently located hubs in the region; Key West International Airport (EYW), Marathon Airport (MTH) and Miami International Airport (MIA).

Key West International is located on the Southeast corner of the Island.  Although it's a small airport, it's fairly active due to the area it serves.  There are quite a few commercial airlines that fly into Key West International, including US Airways and Delta.  Being that it's right on the island, i
t's by far the most convenient airport to fly into and out of Key West, so it's worth looking into as your airport of choice.  Currently, there is no official website for this facility, but there is a nice interim site up that you are welcome to visit Key West International Airport

The Florida Keys Marathon Airport, located 52 miles from Key West, is the smaller of the three airports, but it's adding more commercial flights all the time.  It's a nice second choice to get to Key West if you aren't able to fly directly into Key West. If you're coming to Key West from another part of South Florida, there are seasonal and scheduled flights into Marathon that might work for you. Air charters and corporate jet owners also utilize the Florida Keys Marathon Airport. Parking lots, car rental agencies, taxi stands, shuttle services and a passenger lounge are on premises for your convenience. Visit Monroe County's website to find out more about Florida Keys Marathon Airport

Miami International Airport is of course the major hub in the region, and one of the largest airports in the nation for that matter, serving millions of passengers annually.  There are 165 miles between Key West and Miami International, so finding adequate transportation to get to Key West after you land in Miami is essential and should be arranged in advance.  To find out more, visit Miami International Airport's Official Website.

When planning a trip to Key West, keep in mind that most flights between November to March fill up months in advance.  If you are looking to come here during this time frame, we recommend arranging your air travel as far in advance as possible.  It will give you and those traveling with you the piece of mind in knowing your seats to sunny Key West Florida are secure and reserved.  Plus, when you book ahead, you might be able to get a really great deal on your tickets!
